Today I interviewed Serena Morgan, or Brookie, as some of you might know her.
Justin- Do you like being in your new school program better than you did Calvert?
Brookie- No, because I have to actually go somewhere to take my tests, and I don't know anybody there, except Jared, who used to go to Calvert.
Justin- The program you are using now, is it all online, or a brick-and-mortar school, or a combination of both?
Brookie- It depends. You could take a test on paper, but you'd have to pay for it, so I take everything online. You could use books and paper, but all of my tests are online.
Justin- So it's a lot like Calvert?
Justin- So with Calvert, you had actual teachers, but they were scattered across the world, and you never really met with any of them. Do you meet with any of your teachers now?
Brookie- No, not really, because we don't have that many assignments. In my courses, in a lesson, you have 10-14 mini-lessons. For each mini-lesson, you have either one quiz, or one assignment. You don't get any feedback from a teacher on a quiz, because they are automatically graded, but you do get feedback on an assignment. That's really the only time that you'll get feedback on something, and they just really leave you alone otherwise.
